What we collect, and what we do with it

Good-faith summary of our actual practice, written by the team that built the site. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by counsel.

This page covers www.ecoradr.com — the marketing site you are reading. It does not cover the Radr platform itself: if you are a customer, the handling of your building data is set out in the agreement you signed with us, and that agreement governs.

What the contact form collects

The form on our contact page asks for exactly these fields, and sends nothing else:

  • your name;
  • your work email address;
  • your organisation;
  • your role, which is optional;
  • roughly how many buildings you are responsible for;
  • whether those buildings already have monitoring;
  • the message you write.

There is one additional field, hidden from you and from screen readers, which exists only to catch automated submissions. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded and nothing is sent to us. Nothing else is gathered: we do not fingerprint your browser and we do not attach a hidden identifier to the message.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it. The portfolio size and monitoring questions exist so that the person replying can give you a useful answer rather than asking you two more questions first. That is the whole purpose.

We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not put you into an automated sequence, and we do not sell, rent or share what you send with anyone for marketing.

Where it goes

When you submit the form, our server checks the fields and then sends the contents as a single email to our own enquiries inbox, with your address set as the reply-to address so that a reply goes back to you.

That email is delivered by Resend, a transactional email provider acting as a processor on our behalf. Your message passes through their infrastructure in order to be delivered, and they process it only to deliver it. The submission is not written to a database, and we operate no separate CRM behind this form.

The site itself is served by our hosting provider, which keeps ordinary server request logs (such as IP address, timestamp and the page requested) as part of running the service. The web fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, so loading any page makes a request to Google from your browser.

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, this page changes with it.

How long we keep it

Your enquiry stays in our mailbox as an email, for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it. We do not keep a separate copy anywhere else. Delivery logs at our email provider are retained under their own schedule, which is outside our control.

Asking us to delete it

Write to hello@ecoradr.com and ask us to delete your enquiry. We will delete it and confirm that we have. You can use the same address to ask what we hold about you, to have something corrected, or to get a copy of it.

We will not require you to explain why, and we will not make you send the request through a form.

Children

This is a business-to-business site about commercial building energy. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If we change what the form collects or where it goes, we change this page in the same release. Any material change is a change to our practice first and to this text second — not the other way round.
