Turn building data into clearer energy decisions

Establish baselines, investigate unusual energy use and assess the impact of HVAC improvements, with the method and the data limits in view.

Baselines

What will my project be compared against?

A baseline models what the building would use under the conditions that actually occurred: weather, and occupancy where it matters. It is fitted over a period you can see, and its fit is stated.

Inefficiencies

Where is energy going when it should not?

Measured against the baseline, out-of-hours operation and changed base load show up as items to investigate. Each is a question for your team, not a verdict on the cause.

Savings analysis

What did the change save?

Measured energy after an improvement, compared with the baseline adjusted to the same conditions. The result carries its period, coverage and method.

Data and workflow

What data do I need to start?

Whatever your site already records. Monthly bills, interval readings and equipment or BMS data each support different questions.

  1. 1

    Review your data

Check what is recorded and how usable it is.

  2. 2

    Establish the baseline

Choose a comparison that suits the site.

  3. 3

    Analyse and report

Review findings and assess a change.

What data we can use

Trust

Can I rely on the numbers?

Gaps stay gaps

Missing readings are shown as missing, never filled in or counted as zero.

Methods are stated

Every result names its period, drivers and fit.

Evidence exports

The intervals behind a figure can be exported and recomputed.

Radr measures, analyses and verifies. It reads points; it does not control plant or write setpoints. The method
